My real name is Franklin Javier Moya González, but because it's quite long, I usually introduce myself simply as J. Franklin.
Through my writing, I try to share a message of brotherhood among us human beings, hoping to contribute—even if just a small grain of sand—to a better world.
In 2023, I was diagnosed with ADHD (attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder), which marked the beginning of a deep journey of self-discovery. Since then, I have earned diplomas in positive psychology, emotional intelligence, and mindfulness. These tools have not only helped me better understand myself, but also accompany others on their own personal journeys.
I’m half Venezuelan, half Dominican, and have been living in France since 2010.
I’m the author of El árbol que nunca murió, co-author of Vivir mejor es posible, and illustrator of Keko y el apasionante mundo del Karate.
Drawing is my main passion, although I’ve recently started exploring the world of public speaking as well. In my TEDx talk, The Man’s Journey (available on YouTube), you can learn a bit more about me.
And if you're curious or simply feel like writing, don’t hesitate to send me an email. Sooner or later, I’ll gladly get back to you.
It was clear to me that my journey with ADHD was something I was meant to talk about publicly, both to motivate others and to raise awareness. And that’s when the idea of a TEDx Talk first came to mind.
